Remembering ABC affiliate WJLA reporter and anchor, Dale Charles Solly, and Abigail Kathleen Burroughs

We lost a special friend, Dale Solly, in April. Dale produced and reported many stories during his career to try and help others, including four WJLA Abigail stories. Dale was the recipient of six Emmy awards during his career. This photograph was taken on May 28, 2001, after the taping of the first Abigail story, twelve days before Abigail lost her battle with cancer.
